    Possible Injury??

    Hey folks,

I went away for the weekend, when I came back my female looks like she took a chunk out of her head! Right on top between her eyes. There is still a little piece of skin sticking up but there is a depress thats about 1 mm deep. i put some polysporin on it. She seems to be acting normally, i attempted to take some pictures, but she is camara shy and my male kept hoggin the show!

I will attempt to get better pictures of it later.

do you keep your male and female in the same enclosure? its really hard to tell anything from the picture, but looks like some scraped skin.

Yeah you've kept them for years together in the same enclosure, now you come home after a week and she has a mysterious injury. I doubt she did it to herself. The cons of caging together outweigh the pros IMO. I hope she recovers from this injury without too much incident.

It looks like the scales are lifted? Very odd indeed I'm looking forward to better pictures.

I hate to make light of an injury but she really does look like a dragon.

Accidents do happen...Its apart of having animals. I don't keep any of mine in the same enclosure, though. It really helps minimize possible issues. Hope she heals up soon.
