    Weird noises during feeding?

I was wondering if anybody else had noticed some weird sort of squishy hissing noises when you feed f/t to your bps. My one guy has made this both times I've fed him f/t rats (got him switched over right away yay!) but I've never heard my little one do this although he is still on live now as he is a bit picky. The bp I'm talking about has been to the vet for a check up recently and has no signs of illness and the husbandry is up to par. Could it just be air in the rat being expelled?

I would say it's not a problem unless you are hearing these noises at different times other than feeding.
Your snakes food item will always be larger than the snakes mouth, so it is constantly squeezing the food to compress it during swallowing. I hear all kinds of gurgling/squeaking from random snakes during feeding. Also sometimes depending on the angle the snake is laying, their breathing tube may be partially blocked for a minute or two and you will hear funny noises.

Is the rat wet or dry? You should always make sure they are dry. But it's probably just the squishyness of the rat combined with the snake breathing while eating.

They are dry when I give them to him but either he drools all over them or there's still some little droplets in the bathtub where I feed him lol. It only ever happens when he's eating, he also takes forever to eat! My younger one Boomer only takes like 20 mins but Riu probably takes over an hour. Normal?

it could be the air being expelled by the snake while he is constricting or may be hes making spit in his mouth so the rat can slide down but he is also trying to breath so when he breathes out maybe its blowing the spit around, you know what i mean? like we "gargle" with water and it makes a noisy but his may be different.
