    Re: Strang thick liquid

White poop is not poop, it's actually urates. It's part of what they expel when they pee. The thick runny liquid sounds like a runny stool. I would clean it out and watch for the next one and if it is also runny, consider taking a sample to the vet for a fecal test. But fecal samples need to be fresh to be tested, so try to get it there ASAP after it happens.

sorry i already cleaned it up and i do know about how the solid white thing is urine, also looking at it a bit closer i saw it was sticking to a very thin stool, so i think it was a very runny stool. what can make runny stools occur?

The solid white thing is not urine, it's urates. It's what they pass when they pee, sort of like a solid urine, but not urine. Parasites can cause runny stool, the first person to post was correct in saying you should send the next one to a vet for a fecal test if it is just as runny or doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I didn't think so but figured I would ask. Some times a pic is eaiser for me to tell someone what I think other then going off a description. So yeah, your best bet is to wait for the next bowel movement and if it looks abnormal to you then get it to the vet to be checked for possible parasites.

Depends on the parasite, if you are concerned just get a fecal test done. Mine cost $25.00 per sample.
