    gecko Q's...

for those of you bp.net peeps who are into gecks...
    tiny story...
i was in the pet store i buy my bp's feeder rats from and the guy at the register counter felt it necessary to show me a gecko in a little lidded cup. i didnt hear him say anything other then "oh, check this out." and was still caught off guard as he stuck the cup up to my face for me to have a peek. i jumped back and almost screamed cuz all i saw was a mouth just gaping up at the lid! the guy laughed and said something like "relax it's a gecko." it took me a minute to regain my composure and do a mental check that i hadnt crapped myself before i was able to go "what? that's a gecko?" and had another peek.
sure enough there the little guy was just chillin' in there with his mouth wide open staring up at the lid. the guy said he was super mean and i'm like "well yeah, i'd be super mean too if you kept ME in a cup like that."
    my Q's now...
anyone know if all geckos are temperamental like that or was that one just an exception?
it was kinda chunky with a short fat tail and and a really wide head and mouth (the mouth looked too big for it's head, lol) & it was gray-ish. what kind of gecko was it?

    Re: gecko Q's...

Maybe just a fat-tailed gecko? No idea about their temperament, but all of the wild geckos I used to catch in Guam were mean as hell
