If you want an opinion you need to offer up some more information besides the price, which does make it sound like a scam.

Have they offered you any photos of the snake? If they are willing to send photos, request something specific such as right side, left side, belly, as well as an overhead shot of the snake laying next to something like a ruler or $1 bill for size reference. If they send you whatever photos that you request, then you know they actually set the shots up and didn't go ripping some random photos from somewhere on the internet.

If they say that they can't send photos, or they have no access to any kind of camera, etc, proceed with caution...

It sounds like a local deal, which will let you look over the animal before any cash exchanges hands.

If it's a healthy animal, is really a super pastel, and isn't fugly by super pastel standards, yeah it's a good deal.

I bet it's a normal with bright colors!!! Chances are he is trying to just sell his snake by calling it a Super pastel, but we need a lot more information before making a final judgment.

sometimes you do get very good deals, a lot of the times you get scammed by going for the "steals."
