    Female Suggestions?

I have some what decided on which morphs to get to start my breeding projects. I'm planning on getting 3 females this year at the big FIRE expo this year, a mojave, pastel and I need help deciding on the third female. The males I will be getting next year, most likely at an Orlando repticon, will be a spider and a mojave.

    So far I'm thinking...
    Enchi
    Lesser

Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can't go wrong with an enchi or a lesser. Fires make nice combos too.

You're better off getting a double gene male and combing that with your females. One male can breed to multiple females. Get a combo male and a few more single gene females. I'd recommend a cinnamon, black pastel or yellow belly. You should be able to get a double gene male and one or two of the above because they have reasonable prices. That will give you a chance to hit triple gene animals if you pick the right double gene male. Otherwise you're going to be a year or two behind trying to breed two gene animals and then breed again to get three gene animals. I was doing the same and thankfully someone gave me some good info and I decided to go with what I have in my sig. I'll be adding two more single gene females once the 2011 clutches start popping up! Good luck

    Regards,

    B

    Re: Female Suggestions?

I second either Black Pastel or Yellowbelly. Black Pastels are one of my favorites and the Yellowbelly does some sick stuff when combined with anything. Todd

Thanks for that suggestion B. I think I will go to the next repticon just to look around some more before I make my decision.

The two females we're going to add to our collection (this year we hope) have already been picked out..

    enchi and lesser.

We just need to find the right ones, as the ones I've seen available aren't up to my standards.

I'd maybe add a visual recessive morph like albino, axanthic, or pied. If you are only looking for co-doms then lesser or black pastel.

I already have my next purchases planned out. As soon as I have the money available, I'm getting...

    Female 100% Het Pied Normal
    Male Albino
    Female Mojave

I'm pretty sure the enchi bumble bee is out of my price range. I cold be wrong though.

I do plan on getting a het. pied pair late next year. But the I'm fairly certain I will only be getting 3-4 females before the year ends And out of those only 2 I am certain of for morphs. lol

Right now I'm trying to get someone to build me a snake rack so when I'm ready I can start to fill it.
