bp's are turning me into a carpenter!

This is the first thing that I ever built out of wood, so I had to share a few pictures

Hillbilly snake rack!!!! (28 qt tubs)

    My work area!

Tip: My saw horses turned into my work light tripod. 2 x 4's were great for cutting by yourself. If you cut with saw horses you really need a helper. Oh and a Black n Decker 14 volt circular saw is not going to cut it. LOL

The kitchen table and wall are great helpers!

Newspaper works great as shims so that the tubs slide out nice

My only mistake is: I can't move it. LOL It weighs a lot more than me. I will have to wait for someone to visit to move it into the snake room.

    Hi,

    It looks good.

Great job and looks like it'll serve you very well for years to come. And with the Black and Decker not cutting it, that's all the more reason to buy new power tools, lmao!

Did you paint the exposed fiberboard or use melamine iron on edging?

Yeah, I looked everywhere for sheets of melamine that was thinner than 3/4". I did not have any luck.
