    BP husbandry software

Does anyone reccomend a specific record keeping software or freeware? I have been using 3x5 cards and seems to be working fine, but now with 12ish (I dont even know exactly how many I have, some are on their way ) its already getting hectic

I use iHerp for all my tracking, it's a very cool, free website dedicated to keeping records for your animals. www.iherp.com

I've also checked out Vyper tracking software, which looks pretty cool:http://www.vypersoft.com/
But I didn't end up getting it since they don't have a Mac version

    Re: BP husbandry software

I use Degei. I have three BP's and it has plenty of features that I don't even use.

It tracks feeding, breeding, selling, etc. It's different than iherp in that it isn't internet based, and you just install it and can back it up on your computer.

Just try a few out and see which one you like and fits your needs best!

    Good luck!

I used iHerp but got burnt when it crashed We are making something now to help with this in the future
    http://simpleanimaltracker.com/

It will be the tracker that iHerp is but also have the ability to print the cards on the tubs. Lots to work on still but I am excited. Road map is on the site for release.

    Re: BP husbandry software

Degie Its a good tracker. The free "Trial" is good for up to 5 animals

Vyper There Free trial is only good for 30 days BUT its only $25. There currently not letting you purchase the full version as they have a new version that should be out anytime (According to you there site)

Simple Animal Tracker They are in the process of making this and Im EXTREMELY excited to see how it turns out

Iherp I havent played much with this but to me it seems like a pain if you have several animals, I know there system has crashed and I personally dont like some one to just look up all the info on my animals if they want

You have been teasing us with this forever!

I thought about checking the site out, but I think I'd feel a little exposed tracking every little thing about my snakes online. I am a tad paranoid though. I keep a gun hidden in my snake room just in case anyone breaks in
