    What am I?

So, I got this lovely at the Dixie Reptile Show yesterday. He was labeled as a White Sided Rat - but upon coming home and looking for pictures of WS Rats, he doesn't seem to look anything like them! Which is no big deal for me - but I was curious if you guys could give me a hand in identifying this little fella. (Or gal, I don't actually know.)

His name is Twix, and he's my first rat snake.

A corn snake? I have a hard time seeing that...don't most corn snakes tend to be at least a bit reddish in color?

Edit: I went a browsed the corn section and did see one remarkably similar in looks to Twix. I'm very confused now.

Rat snakes start life like that. Doesn't mean they're corns, but rats and corns are pretty much the same snakes.

A rat snake SHOULD look like a corn snake. Corn snakes are a species of rat snake.
