Post your normal bp beauties! DUW?

Hey guys! Now, we all love the beautiful ball python morphs out there... But most of us started with the natural beauties that are normal ball pythons!!

There are a lot of new users here who do not realize how different normals can be..So a lot of them will question whether or not they have a normal or a morph--this post will help those who are confused about their snake by showing how dark, bright, yellow, or weird normals can be without being any particular morph!

Post your babies all the way up to your biggest big girls! It would be so cool to see how different and cool all the regular bps can be...Feel free to write a little blurb about your snake, but you don't have to!

I'll start. This is my only ball python, and she's a beautiful normal! She was our first snake, and we got her before we really knew much about reptiles, so we got her as a yearling from a little flea market in a ten gallon with about 40 other ball pythons. if only we had known! She came to us with tics all over her body, and didn't eat for months when we first took her home. But after all the tics and parasites were gone she started pounding away rats like nobody's business! She's now grown a foot since we got her and has been healthy since! She was definitely a 'wake up call' that you need to research who you buy from with animals! We have not made that mistake since then.

This was my first and only Ball Python "Damien", I no longer have him but miss him dearly. Still thinking of getting another eventually...

I got him from a lady who simply no longer wanted him. She had him for 6 years and his owner before her had him for a couple so he had to be at least 8 or 9 years old. I brought him home, took 4 layers of eye caps off of him and was never able to get the last layer off. Thankfully he did not come with mites or ticks.

This is the one that started it all for me. Named Osiris, before i knew she was a female, and now affectionately called " Big Mama". She recently tipped the scales at 1238g. I think that the "normal" needs to be replaced with something a litte better like "natural" maybe?

Wow! I'm already seeing some cool cool different looking snakes! I agree, the name 'Natural' or something like that would be a much better description of these lovely ball pythons!
