year old ball pyhton ?? worth it to buy or not

i can get a lil over a year old male ball python for bettwen 125-200, 200 with tank ( this is the price u would pay at a pet store here in nl) the guy is selling it cause he wanted to start breeding but his friend told him he has is not up to breeding standards? he asked me if i would think about buying it off him ..

The male bp is a little over a year old, and it's only a foot long and not even that big on the round .... I have a 9 month old ball python thats 2 feet already, and about the same sze of a bit bigger on the round then my 6 year old ghost corn snake .. does size like that mean anything about health wise ? i kno it u can see there spine well its not good ..

A normal male ball python for $125??? Even in Canada, I can't imagine prices like that. Sure, maybe at a pet store where they sell to folks who don't know any better....but most breeders out there (and Canada has its fair share!) can hardly give away normal males.

Plus...based on your description, it sounds like the poor thing has been severely underfed, at the very least. I'd offer to rescue the poor thing for FREE...but I would not dream of encouraging such neglect by rewarding it with money.
