    Re: i have a question

If he's dehydrated, your first priority should be a nice soak and lots of fresh water. THEN feed him. Not sure about the forked tongue. I suppose it's possible that the two sides are just stuck together and will loosen up when he's fully hydrated again.

Hi! I can't really help you with the forked tongue either, but seems he's underfed. I agree with Judy though. Give him a good soak with warm water about half way up his side. Lots of fresh water, and then try to feed him. Remember to give him a week of r & r in his new home before giving him some dinner. Do you know how old he is? I would probably try every 5 days if he's just a little guy, and then every week when he has fattened up a bit. Even full grown I wouldn't feed less then every two weeks.

I would probably do a small rat every week when he's full grown. Although, my males tend to go on more binges when they eat every week. So probably every two weeks.

Being active and moving around a lot is not what you want. BP spend 80% of their time hiding so moving around a lot is not a normal behavior obviously in this specific case it could be related to the fact that he is underfed (which can be solve by feeding a nice prey, same size as the widest part of your BP's body every 5 days) however just in case, what is your husbandry like?

Animal size, enclosure size, temps, humidity, devices used to get your reading (digital or analog?), etc?
