    I was SOOOOOOOOO wrong!!!!

I figured it would be Pissy that would draw first blood, and I owe him an apology

Last night during feeding, Goblin made his presence know. I do not hold him at fault though. I put him in the feeding tank and forgot to weigh him first. So I reached in to get him out and weigh him and WHAM.........he knew what that tank was for. I'm sure it didnt help that the oder of mouse was strong in that tank.

And to ya'll, I am sorry I didnt get any pictures because it was done bleeding before I could get the camera out I tried to wipe it off and get the punctures but they wouldnt come out!!!! 148g snake doesnt leave much of a mark The strike didnt scare me but the puncture did hut a little.

must of been the day for biting....lol. My husband has been feeding our snakes for the last few weeks and apparently he has a "routine" that I did not know about. I was trying to feed them yesterday and he squawking in my ear that I was doing it wrong. I turned to tell him to shut it and must of moved my hand with the mouse in it and my spider (1700 grams) got me. Poor thing freaked out so much after she bit me that she wouldn't eat after that. Didn't hurt but I have a little war wound! I felt so bad for her...she totally stressed out after that.

No idea. He's always been a finicky eater, but he's never regurged. I've had him up to small rats, then he'll stop and I can get him to eat if I go back to mice. I fed him a decent sized mouse, he ate right away. Overnight he regurged. It didn't have time to get slimy, so he didn't have it down for very long. Probably less than 4 hours.

Looks like I may have to find a male Pied for this year's breeding. Oh well.

    Thanks for the concern!

Thats terrible! Sorry to hear that Jim! Do you think maybe it was just too big for him after not eating for a while?

No, I've fed him rats bigger than this, as a matter of fact, he's eaten mice this large or larger. So, I don't feed him for 2 weeks, and I'll start with mice hoppers.

    Thanks for the concern!

I got striked Saturday evening from my Lesser. I moved my hand to fast while she was looking forward and I was behind her. It was a closed mouth strike and at first I didnt realize what happend because it was instantaneous and there was no feeling of bite pain. I picked her up right after though and she was cool. Acted like nothing even happend
