    Proper tub setup?

I have been reading a lot into tanks vs tubs. I was shocked to see how many people prefer tubes. I have 2 normal balls right now and will be purchasing my first pastel soon. I was wondering are there any links to a properly done tub rack? I feel like a well done tub rack would be better to maintain for my snakes.

    thanks guys/girls

Depends if you would like to purchase or build one. Building is alot cheaper and you can customize it yourself. Racks are the way to go for several snakes.

I would possibly be interested in ether buying or making. Depends on the quality that I could buy. What are some good websites.

I just put up pictures of my rack on another thread. It's really simple and cost next to nothing compared to buying a rack. Check it out, if you have any questions that I didn't answer on that thread ask them here or PM me. I'll see it eventually. I also posted the link in that thread to my thread on wiring flexwatt yourself. http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ch-rack-to-get

Ya just build one. Mine is working perfect. Snakes are shedding with NO problem at all and the temps are consistent! It's nice to have a rack and open each drawer/tub with no lid or anything on. Makes cleaning etc alot easier!

This is a pretty simple instruction thing for a snake rack. It's fairly basic but provides solid instructions none-the-less.

In the rack I just built, I'm using the 4 inch flexwatt, belly heat, have it starting at the bottom and zigzagging to the top. Works great! Some use individual pieces of flexwatt for each shelf and wire it all together. I find it less work just to use one piece and zigzag it.
