    Breeding question

Well id like to start off saying ive had normal BP's for a few year and have grown into the addiction. Ive been doing some light research on breeding and taking my time on getting currently taking the time on getting proper tanks and housing needed. Ive looked into a few morphs and the possibilities. My biggest attraction i have is is the bumblebees. (pastel x spider) , next would be Lemon blast(pinstripe x pastel)

I been pricing and looking int my next purchase. What would be the best way of purchasing i.e. male pastel x female spider vice verse to make bumblebees, male pinstripe x female pastel or vice verse to make lemon blasts

mind you im not planning on breeding nxt week or anytime soon and im aware im new to the breeding scene. just trying to get some input.

    Re: Breeding question

I don't think it matters which morph is which sex for the individual combos. But if you're looking at both bees and blasts...then I'd recommend a male pastel and female spider and pin. That way you can cover both the spider and pin with the same pastel male in one breeding season and give yourself a chance to produce both combos in the same season with the least number of breeders. And if I were to go this route, I might go for a super pastel male to start with...that way all the babies he throws will at least be pastel, and give you a higher percent chance of hitting the combos.

Definitely working on that next. Currently have a few tank set ups, was debating on buying a rack but think gna save some money and build one. Been lookin in the DIY section and lots of cool ideas.
