Who owns the "Designer Morphs" Book?

Can you elaborate on what level of detail this book goes into as far as breaking down morph codes and (XY + WZ = ??) Would just like to know if its worth the $90

Re: Who owns the "Designer Morphs" Book?

ive never herd/seen of the book (unless your refering to NERD's book, which is more about taking care of them I thought?) but everything you could ever want to know can be found on this site, or asking someone on here. everything you want to see can be found on google images. With New morphs being made ever year, the book will be outdated soon anyways.

Re: Who owns the "Designer Morphs" Book?

    Never read the book...

...but I am guessing you can find the same info you are looking for from this site.

Now I understand its nice to have "the answers" in your hand, but if the value of the book is in question why not save yourself the $90 and ask the questions here? You will most likely get multiple experiences/answers/views rather than one...and they are free.

    Just a thought...

Re: Who owns the "Designer Morphs" Book?

I'm assuming you are talking about the book by John Berry?

I got it for Christmas, but haven't had much of a chance to really get into it yet. It has awesome photos (and tons of them). It also breaks down combo morphs by what's in them and touches on many different base morphs...Not to mention all the Boa pics/info!!! I love the book so far!

No problem! I understand how people like the ease of having info on the internet, but you can't substitute a good old fashioned book! I stare at a computer all day long...It's the last thing I want to use in the evening!

I'll look at it more tonight and try to break it down more tomorrow (if I remember). The holidays have been keeping me way too busy!

Re: Who owns the "Designer Morphs" Book?

I received that book for Christmas and I love it! I also have the previous edition which I've read and re-read, and the new one has many, many more morphs and photos. You could dig around on the internet to find this information, but it is a real treat to have it all handy in a book.

It does a very nice job of illustrating what makes up the various morphs and combos. It is organized by morph, with combos using that morph included in each section. To a ball python and book lover like me it is definitely worth the money.
