    A christmas miracle!!!

I just wanted to share my happiness. My baby caramel, after countless assist feedings, finally decided to strike and eat on his own. He was thoroughly terrified of his food since I got him in October. I am thrilled to now have experience with assist feeding for future breeding plans that may produce stubborn hatchlings, but even more thrilled and proud of my lil guy.

    RE: X-Mas Miracle

I understand your elation as I have been having extreme difficulties getting my new BP to eat as well. It didn't matter what I offered. The snake seemed afraid of it. She finally ate last Friday, thank goodness! I was getting really worried and didn't want to have to resort to force feeding unless I absolutely had to.

    Re: A christmas miracle!!!

I share your feeling as it happened to one of the babies I bought 5 months ago. Patience finally paid off and now she is eating like a monster and never refuse a meal on a 5-day feeding schedule. Congrats and keep us posted of your healthy caramel 5 months later.
