    New Adoptions!

Well, I'm a member of the Pacific Northwest Herpetological Society. Last week at a outreach we took in a Cornsnake to foster, Super Dave! He was a awsome snake. But, wife didn't want us having different species of snakes. So, we took him back to foster a Ball Python. Well, we ended up Adopting 2 Normal BP's! One is for my son, he just doesn't know it yet! His birthday is the 29th so, guess what he's getting! LOL! He was named Henry, but my son has renamed him Snake Eyes. Since it has eyes on its back. The other one is named EB. I'm going to sex it and then rename it!

I think it's great when people get their kids involved and teach them about owning reptiles. I hope your son enjoys his new companion...

My son and I both had Normal BP's when we lived in Mississippi. But, we didn't know how to move them. Now I know that you can actually mail them! But, since I picked up my two morphs and actually mentioned breeding them and starting a hobby/ business with snakes. He's been very interested. So, I purchased a couple of BP books and told him to read them and ask me questions. Well, he's read 2 out of the 4 I got! Plus, helps clean the mice tanks! Since we purchased a mice coloney for feeding! I feel it's a great thing for kids! My two daughters love helping with the Crested Gecko's we have in the house! LOL!

Cute! I love when parents can share these kinds of hobbies with their kids, that way you can get help and show him how to take care of them at the same time. Family pets are great when most of the family is involved. (Ha, my mom isn't a fan of snakes, so I never got that option)
