What to do with that one "special" gift...
So my wife's birthday was last week and I learned something... whenever a relative gives you a gift and says "the rest are practical, but this is for the soul", you'd better be prepared to A) Smile and nod, and B) control your facial expression when you open it.
Her grandmother got her this horrendous, fuzzy, troll-hair type pillow for some reason.... we have no real use for it but we can't really throw it away because she'll eventually be over to our place and ask of its whereabouts.
So this is the proverbial "lemonade" that I'm making from this white, fuzzy lemon. We didn't have any photos of our new het pied female so we took her out for some glamour shots last night.

It does make a nice "glamour shot" background for your snake. I don't suppose you're going to show that picture to Grandma, though....

After some consideration, I decided I didn't like the picture as-is because of how dark she was (it's not really representative of her color). The challenge was getting the contrast balance right between her dark body and the bright white pillow... so I merged two versions of this photo and got something that is a little nicer to look at and CERTAINLY more realistic in terms of her color!
