No Sleep Last Night BP's on the Mind

So last night i was looking around at some snakes that just blew my mind. I know that the pictures on the net dont give the actual snake justice like everyone says so in the pics section lol. But I was loooking at 2 - 3 - 4 morph combo snakes and after a few hours i went to bed. But i couldnt sleep from 11 - almost 3 just thinking about how there are so many possible combinations out there that i now know why everyone picks a project, so you sleep unlike me.

But honestly how far could it be in 10 , 15 years? ive read a book from 91' and its picture you can see morphs coming out in the normalish snakes but ive read the hobby has blown up (aka me in new ) alot in the past while. But last night i was thinking about colours, ive not really seen greens, blues, and purples but how far are "we" from making way a pastel looking snake that blue instead of black backed? Or a snake thats purple , is there true greens? not olive brown greens.

As for blue snakes, you might have to find another species... XD Balls might never get crazy enough colored for some people. Their colors can be pretty crazy, but without FINDING a blue snake or het for blue python, it might not be possible to make a sky blue bp. That or the right combo. Even the craziest morphs and mixes on the market tend to be brown, orange yellow or white colors. Balls as a species have a color pallette that is different from another species. Corn snakes have a lot of reds and oranges and probably will always be "better, brighter and redder" in that sense compared to bps. Unless someone finds a true green ball or the magic morph combo that creates different pigments in the skin, i think a grass green BP is about as likely as a grass green skinned human!

Kevin's really close to creating a purple ball python (NERD).

With approximately 60 identified base mutations, we'll never see in OUR lifetime all the possible combinations that can be made.

Dont tell me that now i feel like im going to miss out on what is the "peak" for their colours.

But maybe an 8 or 10 designer morph might get a blue back or green highlights but that wouls have to be like tracing a line as a kid, it would have to be perfect matches the whole way to get there.

But is there colour right now thats the big thing? like a super orange enchi?
