Don't own any lizards but I did get my hypo pastel rtb from them, excellent quality animal at least that's my experience, already eating ft fuzzies no problems to date

I got my Bredli from them a couple years ago and she has been healthy and great.

I noticed their regular RTBs are labeled as Colombian but the albinos and hypo pastels are not.

Are their RTB's pure or are they crossbreeds of Boa c. amarali and Boa c. constrictor?

I'm expecting a hypo pastel RTB from Big Apple tomorrow and was just wondering if anyone had any info on their suppliers/breeding.

I could honestly care less about my boa being a mix or not- I had just read that the crossbreeds tend to max out at a slightly smaller size (a foot or two) compared to pure Boa c. constrictors and was wondering what to expect.

I expect that their RTBs are neither, and in fact Boa c. imperator.. with the possible exception of the morphs, as I don't know where the all the various morphs of boa constrictors originated. Many MANY originated from the B.c. imperator subspecies. As far as I know, there are no morphs associated with Boa c. constrictor.

If I am not mistaken they do not breed their own stock, they have breeders they buy from. This is not necessarily a bad or negative thing. I prefer to buy directly from the breeder because that is who bred the animals and know the most about their genetics. I have ordered supplies from them once and it was a good experience.

I believe that you're partially right- according to their site some of their stock is bred in house while others are imported from trusted breeders. For example, they indicate that their Blood Pythons come from only one trusted breeder while their Hypo Pastel RTB's are bred in their own facility.
