We were cleaning cages, and found one of my male pastels dead, he had been refusing food the past month, showed no signs of illness. He was handsome fella

I'm sorry for your loss, I lost my female albino to an R.I. just a couple months ago. I didn't have her long but she was one of my favorites

Thanks, I know, I was shocked, I am neurotic when it comes to checking them over, a breeder friend of mine said that this time of year when we drop the temps, is when any underlying issues will rear their ugly heads.
I have another large breeder female that developed stomatitis, thankfully I have antibiotics on hand, and after a course of injections & increased temps, she is back to her normal demonoid self.
