Reasonable price for kinked pinstripe female?
Hi.
A local breeder close to me has a 2010 female pinstripe with a small kink in her back. I have seen pictures of her and the kink. I'm also more then welcomed to check her out in person.
Do you think $100 is a reasonable price?
Hoping for everyone's input and advice.
Thanks

it matter for how big the kink is and is she eating good. but i think it should less cause if she has a kink she has to be for just a pet and not a breeder

As long as she's eating fine, healthy, and not meant for breeding, $100 seems fair as a "pet price" for a pinstripe as long as it's just one small kink.

She is healthy and eating perfectly fine on her own. It is a very small kink on her back. She will not be used for breeding. Thanks

I saw at a local show a vendor selling a kinked caramel albino for $50. The kink was near the tail and not that bad.

I wouldn't even take it! You are better off to spend the extra and get a nice pin! $100 sounds good if the kink does not harm the snake then it would be okay for a pet as a female goes for $500 here!

$100 seems reasonable considering they are $250 without a kink. I would go for it if you feed it's worth the money to you.

I think it sound ok price wise , but i be more worried about were the kink is and it size. if it near the tail and everything working fine then good deal if more it in the upperhalf I be more concern as this could effect organs and such if the kink makes it possible for nerve signals to be blocked.
that just my personal thinknig.

In my opinion, no responsible breeder should ever sell a kinked animal. If for no other reason (and there are others) but for your own reputation.
As bad as it sounds, that animal goes in the freezer.
Reason being, you neve know as the breeder who the animal is being sold to, even if they only want it as a "pet". A "pet" snake can quickly become a "breeder" snake and then that kinked "breeder" snake makes babies that are kinked.
Now regardless of what that animal was sold as, your name as a breeder can quickly turn to poop.
All you've got is your reputation, breeders should do more to protect it.
We also don't need any more genetically deformed animals in this hobby.
