I think you're skipping a bit ahead. It sounds like she's still "building" if she's staying on the cooler side of the enclosure and staying around her bowl. If you felt anything it was more likely growing follicles rather than eggs. Just be patient and watch for her ovulation. After she ovulates, she'll move to the warm side of the enclosure and remain there.
isn't it true that once she ovulates and the folicles have turned to (un)fertilized eggs that you can't feel them anymore when you palpate? in that case she wouldnt be due to lay yet because she hadn't ovulated yet when you felt the "eggs".
