Why do you need to bath the snake.
Unless the snake is covered in feces or bad shed, theres never a reason to soak them. Its stressful for them

Re: question on bath water
A childs bath warmth or a little cooler should be fine, should you need to bathe your snake.

Yeah Tepid, luke warm, just slightly warm to the touch, it's all the same. Unless your one to enjoy baths with a Ball Python, i would just let them take care of everything, no need for the bath!

Only time mine ever goes in the bath is if for some reason there's a bad shed, but as long as everything's going fine for that, there should be no need.
A word of caution though... being in warm water tends to cause bowel movements for some reason...

Re: question on bath water
85 degrees with some floating candles and Barry White playing in the back ground should be about perfect
Bath tubs are dirty places, lol, with lots of people chemicals, sterilite tubs work perfect for soaking snakes should the need arise

Good point about not using the tub. In the rare case that I need to soak a snake, I use under 2" of 98F water in a bucket, and watch the snake constantly. Snakes have been accidentally drowned while soaking, so you have to be very careful. The water will cool very quickly even in a snake room, so keep it brief.
