    Blew a fuse

    hi came home to a blown fuse and the uth was off temps where at 80 so it wasnt that bad but how do i prevent this from happening again..

    Buy a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) like you would hook your computer up to and run your power cords through that. Get a good one with a decent battery life that should tide you over in an emergency.

    What type of fuse blew. Something in house or thermostat.

    And they can survive few days at cooler temps with no ill effects.

    If you hadn't overloaded that circuit, the fuse wouldn't have blown.

    Not much.my two uth and two heat lights which are not on all the time..nobody was home so i don't no what happened so just wanted a back up plan..
