What to put in a 50 gal Exo-Terra?

    Hi everyone!

    Recently i picked up a 36"x18"x18" Exo-Terra terrarium, I beleive it's equivalent to a 50 gallon (or so i've read)

I've been doing tons of research on what to get but i just can't decide. So i was wondering if anyone wanted to give me thier opinions on what would do well in said terrarium.

I've looked at everything from ball pythons to jeweled lacertas...i'm just too indecisive! LOL

    All opinions are welcome! thanks!

I been liking the crested geckos. You would be able to house good 5+ Cresties in a tank that size.

Your tank sounds like its its closer to 40 gallon. I just measured one of my 40 gallons and its almost identical to your measurements. Either way, I say get a corn snake or a male red-tail boa. Those could live their entire life in a 40 gal tank.

all good options....even the jell-o lol

i've really been liking carpets and boas.....what about a male irian jaya or jungle carpet python? or a male hogg isle boa?

would i have to upgrade to a bigger terrarium for these species after a year or so? or would they be ok? not that i mind upgrading enclosures.

Carpet Python would be my vote. I will own one someday!

i have to agree with cresties lol but thats cause i like them more, but i also wanted to say it is a 50 gallon, all you have to do to figure it out is multiply LxWxH then divide by 231, but whatever you decide on good luck

Id go with something arborealish. Like a BRB. Something along those lines.
