    Ultratherm Heat Mat

Can I use aluminum tape to secure an Ultratherm to the bottom of an enclosure? I don't want to just set the enclosure on top of the heat mat for fear of there not being any air circulation.

I used aluminum tape to secure my UTH and thermostat probe to a Really Useful Box (plastic tub) from Staples. Then I got some rubber furniture feet at Walmart and attached them to the corners of the tub partly for airflow and so my UTH wouldn't be sitting directly on my nice bookshelf.

Will work without problems just only tape the edges and not entire heat mat
