He ate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot believe it!!!!
He finally ate on his own!!!
Here's the history of this crazy hatchling: Do-or-die
I did what Don suggested. Don't assist for 2 weeks before trying the assist again. We went 3 weeks... He dropped from 65g to 57g (he was hatched on 7/31, his brother is already 155g). We were gonna do the assist today if he still refuses but to our surprise, he struck/coil/swallowed a live rat within 2 minutes of us putting the rat in there!
I am sooooo happy!!!
If he regurges, I'm gonna cry...

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Well make sure the heat is nice a toasty in there, leave him alone for an extra long time and you should be good. I would wait a little longer before trying the next one so he is hungry next time and ready for it. Great job though, i just had my rescuse who is at 40 grams finally eat a LIVE rat pinkie today for the first time. We both are happy campers today!!
