    Any other reason for soaking???

About 3 weeks ago I found one of my snakes soaking and upon further inspection saw that she had mites. I treated the cage, treated her and they went away. Today I found her in the water again but can't find mites anywhere on her or the cage.

Is there another legitimate reason why she would be soaking other than mites? Or does soaking automatically = mites?

Could she be preparing to shed? Did you see her eyes turn opaque?

The mites lay eggs under their scales so there may still be a few eggs left....I've had snakes for about 6yrs now and I just got mites for the first time this week. It started off with one snake and now it has spread through the entire rack.

Can't wait for the PAM to come in the mail. Stupid bugs
