    Refreezing prey?

What's the problem with refreezing my rats for my BP? She's currently not eating, and I try every week. But I just refreeze the rat. Should I be throwing them out? Why can't I just refreeze them all the time?

I refreeze once then toss. I don't want to risk the rat/mouse decaying too much and causing my bp to regurge or get sick.

    Re: Refreezing prey?

I have what I like to call a garbage disposal snake. He is a 6yr old RTB. When I used to feed F/T and had one left over that didn't get eaten it went to garbage disposal.

Likewise, refreeze once then toss. I too am blessed with a garbage disposal BP to handle unwanted food.
