    Be Careful

Im not sure exactly where to post this, so if this is in the wrong section please let me know.

There was recently someone on fauna that had multiple scam ads up for ball pythons and retics. He came out of nowhere with high end animals that he wanted to trade. He was first caught because he was using stolen pics and it went downhill from there. He was eventually banned from the site. Now he's had a few ads on kingsnake and possibly this site too.

My point is, be careful. Ask for references, ask for more pics. There are a lot of scammers out there, so play it safe.

Thanks for the heads up. I read about all that mess on Fauna.

I know from THIS site, folks can definitely trust Rabernet (Robin) and Freakie_Frog (Ed) I've bought from both and received excellent babies from them both. I'll soon be a repeat customer from Ed (and hopefully Robin too)

    Re: Be Careful

I didnt list a username because I didnt have 100% proof, but I didnt feel right not saying anything. Scammers really get under my skin, so I have to be careful about overreacting to a suspicious ad.

Unfortunately, there are people out there trying to take advantage of the internet, but there are also a ton of honest people with great animals (especially on sites with picture forums). That reminds me, I have a few animals I need to start saving for.
