need some help building my rack

This will be my 1st rack so I need some help with the measurments. Its gonna house my babies so I'm using 15 quart. The measurments of the tub is 16 1/2 x 11 1/4 x 6 1/4. The measurments I have for the rack is 17 1/2 x 23 1/2 x 36. Does this sound alright? It will have 2 tubs per row & 5 rows. There will be 1/8 in gap between the top of the tub & the bottom of the next row up. Feel free to add your input. Thanks in advance.

It sounds close! I built a rack that holds 8-15qt. tubs and the rack measures 38 1/2 x 24 x 17. But I put a kick plate on the bottom and a shelf on top. The best thing to do is build your rack around the tubs you will be using. First decide if you are going to keep the lids on or off, then measure your tub height add for a small gap, then the thickness of the shelf and go from there.
Just one question, why are you using 15qt. tubs for babies? I would go with 6qt. for new babies. I use 15qt. for my 200g-600g snakes. Just a thought! Anyway, here is a picture of the rack I built.

    Good luck,

There actually 2 months old. I just haven't got out of the habit of calling em my babies. I'm leaving the lids off. I'm going to use 1/2 in plywood made of birch. Mines also gonna have a top shelf like yours so I can put another cage on top
