How to prepare driftwood for my BP

I have a nice chunk of driftwood that used to be in my old fiahtank months ago and would like to put in a snake tank. What is the proper way to bake/ boil it?

If it was in your tank with water and fish then it probaly is okay! Usually you bake it to get rid of bugs inside the wood! I would just soak it in hot water for an hour then rinse and dry out! You may bake it at 350 for an hour to dry it quick!
