Dunking his tail and drinking a lot...

Nergal keeps dunking the end of his tail in his water bowl. Usually when I see him out of his hide (mostly at night time, that is when he is active and cruising around a little), he dunks his tail in his water bowl at some point, and sits there with it in the water for 10 or 15 minutes. Is this a cause for alarm?? :/ None of my other snakeys do that.
Next, he has been drinking a good bit of water. He also peed on my bed two days in a row (I know, fool me once...) when I set him there to cuddle with him. (I'm not even going into detail about what other "presents" he left on my bed).
Is this from him drinking too much water? Is it normal for him to pee two days in a row? How often should I see him drinking? Do I need to worry?
Thanks BP.net. You are life savers.

I don't really know about the tail soaking thing. Maybe he just likes it. You might want to look him over real good to make sure there are no mites or ticks. As far as the frequent urination goes, it's more than likely from the amount of water he drinks. He will drink what he needs and and pee when he needs...
