    Herpstat Pro Problem

Today has been in a disaster in my little world of Ball pythons. As some of you know I recently switched my male to a 15 qt tub only to come home from school to find is humidity at 91%. I promptly took care of that problem and it is now settled at 59%. Now, I just came upstairs to check on him and the T-stat probe had fallen off and his temps were 110+ degrees, so I reattached the probe and we are all fine and doing good, but as I am monitoring the T-stat I notice that my females temps were reading low 80's so I check with the IR thermom. but it says the temps are fine, I come back in literally a minute later and the T-stat is displaying in the 100's yet the IR isstill showing temps around 90 in the enclosure. What is going on here with my herpstat? it displays temps all over the place yet the heat pad rarely leaves the 89-90 range.

Not the herpstat, faulty probe. Order a new probe and replace the one reading bad.
