    Mini JCP?

So I bought a awesome JCP in 06. This snake refuses to grow, never missed a meal but still hasn't broken 4ft. Ive talked to tons of people about it an still have no clue what it could be. Vet says hes in great condition. Any idea of why this is? strange mutation maybe? idk

Jungles aren't supposed to get huge. "Pure" jungle males will average 4' as adults. Females are slightly larger and can reach 6', and rarely 7'. They are considered a small python species. So many breeders have crossed them with diamonds and coastals over the years, most are tainted with different ssp. Coastals today look nothing like they did 15-20 years ago neither do most jungles.

My original jungles, which I sold 10 years ago, were VPI stock and both of my males were around 40-48". Females were around 5-6' and all were nearly 10 years old at the time. Too much crossing has been done since then.

I feed 1-2 large mice or small rat every week.
