We have a male BP who was breeding for us from Aug to Dec (visual locks with 2 females), but whom we have not seen show any sign of interest since. He eats on and off - when he feels like it, we guess. He was around 600g when we began pairing him, and has hovered around there since.

This is his first year breeding, and he seemed pretty gung-ho right out the gate, but now he seems to have had it with the girls, and pays absolutely no mind to any female we introduce him to. At least one of the new females is very interested - she wags and scents for him - but apparently he couldn't care less.

Do males go through cycles of interest? Is he just so done because he (probably) successfully bred 2 girls, and thinks he has filled his quota? Is there anything we (the humans) can do to raise his level of interest in the ladies? Or will we just have to watch and wait until he decides he's up for the chase again?
