Thanks for all of the great comments! We are really stoked that the fathers markings and fur type is passing to his kittens. He is pelted which makes him so soft. You just want to make him your blanket and carry him around all day snuggling with him.
So far no one that we know, who has cat allergies, has been affected by them.

Gah! Please excuse me while I have a cuteness-related stroke...

I once went toe-to-toe with an 8 week old bengal mix rescue over the litter box. I wanted him to use it, he didn't want to. We squared off for 15 minutes while he'd try to squat anywhere but in the litter box and I'd catch him and put him back in. He'd then loudly protest and get out to try and squat elsewhere. Last I heard, the folks that adopted him relented and let him be an indoor/outdoor kitty...I can't imagine why???

They're absolutely gorgeous, congrats! I love bengals and I'd love to get one, but I have no room for more animals lol!

I especially love the light spot on Sandy, but they're all stunning!

What does that mean? One of my domestic shorthairs is unusually soft as well - everyone comments on just how soft he is. Wondering what pelting is and how it affects the softness.

Many wild animals have really soft coats (or pelts). The Bengal can inherit this same trait from its Asian Leopard cat heritage. A Bengal that has a very plush and soft coat is called 'pelted'. It is very silky feeling to the touch.
Bengals can also be called glittered. Glitter is caused by individual hair shafts that are gold in color which shimmer like gold in light.

They are TOOOO cute!! I love Bengals, and have always wanted one... my mother's really into Abyssinians, and always says a Bengal or Ocicat are the only other breeds she'd consider. So beautiful!

OT, but for anyone who's allergic to cats but wants one, they should consider a Cornish or Devon Rex... my relatives (aunt, uncle & cousin) have owned them for years, and swear they're allergy-friendly. Due to two of them having bad allergies, it's the only breed they will own!

They're a bit odd looking, but usually very sweet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devon_Rex
