do I need to feed 2 mice?

I have a hatchling, was 60 grams when we got her, now she is 120 grams. I say we had her 3 weeks maybe. Anyway I have been feeding live mice, one every 5 days, no more than 7 days between feedings. I fed her Wednesday a mouse like normal. She ate it and stayed out of the hide, went back into her ambush spot for a while before retreating to her hide. Today, only 2 days later she was posted up with her head at the hole of the hide but in strike mode. I paid no mind thinking she was gonna have a bowl movement. I came back into the room and when I walked by she came out of the hide flicking the tongue. I put a couple fingers to the glass and started moving them, she started heading towards them! I stopped and went and bought another mouse, she ate it like it was nothing. Do I need to feed her 2 mice now? These are full blown mice, PetCo style. I would say they are as big as round as she is, maybe a bit bigger. Whats next rats? Or do I feed 2 every time I feed, 1 rat would be better, prob cheaper too. What does everyone else do? Thanks

Well my guy is a bit of the same story. He's a voracious eater and I'm not sure he would ever stop eating if I gave him unlimited access to mice.

What I would say is that if she seems hungry even though she's just eaten, try to find a smaller sized mouse and give her that so that if she wants it she can have it. It might be cheaper to go with one rat as opposed to two mice at a time, but as far as I know it's pretty much the same banana as far as nutrition for the snake goes.

At 120 grams, one big adult mouse once a week should be enough food. If you want the snake to grow faster, you can put it on a 5 day feeding schedule.

Once it's up to 200 grams, I would feed 2 mice, or switch to crawler rats.

The switch will go smooth, or no? She might be close to 200 grams right now, its been a week or so since I weighed her, in fact gonna weigh her right now...

She is 141 grams, a few of them are fresh mouse of course! lol
