Rescued a kitten!! (Question)

i just rescued this guy from being attacked by my neighbors dog.



My question is if he is big enough or old enough to eat solid food. I am going to buy all of his stuff 2morrow.

I can't really tell how big the kitten is from your pic, so could you get a picture of it standing up or next to something for size reference. But guessing from that picture it is about 6 weeks, i would suggest to start it off on soft food and slowly over a couple weeks add kitten kibble mixed in to the soft food.

I offered her some soft food today and she ate without a problem. Thanks.

Make sure you're feeding her food for kittens - she needs the extra nutrients that are in kitten food. You can wet it to make it softer.

Yes, it looks well old enough to feed solid food. Kitten food is needed for added calcium etc. Don't start giving it milk though. Everyone thinks cats need milk, but it can play havoc with kitten digestive systems.
