    Drop front shoe boxes

Saw these at meijer today while buying some 6 quart tubs. The stack and look really nice. And they seem to be more structurally sound than the typical pull out sterilite premade rack that we all wish we could use.

Has anyone used these? The front hatch is pretty solid, but not quite enough. I feel like an easy modification to prevent the snake from pushing the door open could make these work pretty well. They are solid on all other sides.

Just wanted to know if anyone has seen or used these.

    Thanks!
    Sam

Never used those but I can imagine the water dripping out already when a snake tips his water dish over.

And if not water dripping I can imagine much worse

Doubt it's a good functional idea.

I think they might make good, cheap display idea for a show, but as far as an every day container, I don't think it would work very well.

Bp's dont urinate liquid, it comes out in powder, I say buy one and give it a shot. Never know if it will truly work until you try it.

Trust me on this Bp's urinate liquid just fine - and sometimes in copious amounts.

And the solid urates come out more like a thick paste that then sets if it it is allowed to dry out.

As proof I offer exhibit "O my god"

This is also why I like newspaper as a substrate - you can see these things and know that they get completely removed.

You haven't had yours very long have you? They most assuredly pee large amounts of liquid as WELL as expel urates and fecal matter.
