    Where to buy hides online?

    Hey Forum

My ball python has outgrown it's medium exoterra cave (9"x6"x3.5"). I'm looking to try and spend <20$, maybe <15$ on two new hides online. What websites do you suggest?

Try Big Apple Herps, there is also another supplier but I can't think of it sorry.

I love these hides, and the snakes seem to like them too!

Re: Where to buy hides online?

It depends on what type of hide you are looking for. I like the Reptile basics hides because they are light weight and easy to clean...

If you decide to go with these get a medium size. These will work until your snake reaches about 38 inches long and around 1500+ grams.

If you want to stick with the cave type hides, here are a few other websites...

Re: Where to buy hides online?

Thanks everyone - I'm looking for natural looking hides; something like the large exoterra hide...shipping seems to be expensive for me - $11+.

This site doesn't charge shipping, but has anyone else used it?

Re: Where to buy hides online?

I got these plastic "bowls" from walmart last weekend. They come in all different colors (though I picked the dark blue ones) and you can get round or a trapozoid shape for $1.50 a piece!!! My snake is about 2 (maybe 2.5) feet long and outgrew her old hide, so I went on a hunt to find a cheap replacement. All I had to do was sodder (burn) a hole in one side for her to go in and out of...You can get the ones mentioned above, I see them a lot ans snakes do seem to like them, but you can "make" your own in about 5 mins for only $1.50 (plus a sodering iron)! (oh yeah, I burned air holes in mine also, just to make sure air flows ALL throughout the tank...)

I recommend www.reptilesupply.com they are usually fairly cheap on their exo-terra hides and shipping.
