it can be. Just means the bee is already browning out at young age and thats the sign of lower quality.

Just the tan/brown speckling down his sides. Personally don't care for it, but that's just me. Desert Dweller Reptiles had some ridiculously clean bees on KS lately...man I wish I had the cash...

It means that for those of us that "grade" ball pythons and choose stock for selective breeding projects, it wouldn't be one that we would choose for a selective breeding program most likely.
The ones in this thread are "clean" bee's.
