    What would you do???

I have a (approx 2 ft.) normal girl bp that I may want to start breeding after another year or two. I was just wondering : What would you pair a normal with (if you didn't know if she was a het or not...)??? I know some of yall are always saying that you shouldn't pair normals with normals, so what's a good match?

I kinda want to go ahead and get a male soon, even if they won't be "together" for another year, but wanted your advice first.

    Thanks!!!

All depends on your budget and what your looking to produce.

BumbleBee.... Then you can possibly get spiders, pastels, and bees out of the clutch.

    Re: What would you do???

Well, I was hoping to spend less than $200 on a young male...

Not really sure what I'd want to produce, esp. since I'll be starting with a normal

There's nothing wrong with pairing her with a normal. If you want to produce morphs, look for a dom/co-dom male that you like and fits your budget.

    Re: What would you do???

For under 200 some co-dom morph males you could probably pick up are:
    Spider
    Pastel
    Yellowbelly
    Cinnamon
    Mojave

And I am sure there are more that I missed

    Re: What would you do???

A triple/quadruple codom/dom morph. Super x codom/dom morphs. Some unknown morph which you want to test. Yeah that's about all I'd pair with a normal. But that's me.

Just get a nice pastel or something het for something. That way you can produce more pastels for a super later, or you could try to produce a hom for whatever trait.

Although... normals seem to often be carriers for the daddy gene, so a lesser/butter would be a great choice.

Shows are a great place if you have any in your area, Kingsnake is also a good place, I have purchased many of my BP's or found breeders on there. Their is also an inquiries/feedback section on this forum
