    Pastel x Spider clutch hatched...

...and unfortunately no bees for me this year. Oh well, I've waited 5 years to try to make bees, another year won't hurt me. I'll try again next year. Still always nice to get 5 healthy hatchlings even if you didn't get what you want. No holdbacks from this clutch though.

    Finaly tally:
    • 2.1 Pastels
    • 0.1 Spider
    • 1.0 Normal

    Group shot:

    1.0 Pastel (wicked nice blushing)

    1.0 Pastel

    0.1 Pastel

    0.1 Spider

    1.0 Normal

Very nice little clutch, sorry about the Bees or lack of.

I'm afraid I used up my luck with my first Spider x Pastel pairing. Produced 5 eggs and they were 1.1 Bees and 2.1 Pastels. No Bees since.

I'm hoping for some next spring. Good luck as well.

Re: Pastel x Spider clutch hatched...

Thanks everyone! I figure next year she's going to give me 8 eggs and I'm going to get 5 bees to make up for this year!!

    [/dream]

But seriously, there's always next year. They've gotten so cheap from when I first eyed them many years ago that had I known it would take this long to make one, I should have just waited and bought one. Oh well, nothing beats hatching your own!
