    ok question about an egg

so have been maternally incubating my first clutch ever. Lucy is a great mom however her egg on top she has managed to flatten it. looks horrible but upon candling it well it has veins oddly enough good ones considering how it looks i'm at work so i'll post pics when i get home roughly though she has managed to make it where its about 3/4" thick kind of deal. sigh if it does pop a little one out i am keeping it should it live its name will be squish what do you think

    Great name!

Its hard to say without a pic, but 3/4 of inch does seem kind of small...

They flatten out as they grow anyway, but I wouldn't say that much you know...I would leave it being that the veins are in good shape, can't hurt...

    Get that pic up!

    you crazy girl!!

They look great, doesn't look like she squished em' to bad at all. I would say your doing fine, just make sure you keep those temps/humidity on point, and you'll have pippn' babies in no time. What was the pairing??

Re: ok question about an egg

Yeah I knew which one you were talking about, but thats normal. I really wouldn't worry much about it. My one egg was probably smaller then this and it wasn't squished lol. For some reason it dimpled A LOT so I was also a little worried, but it really is quite normal.

Hes a pretty boy!! Hopefully they turn out as sweet lookin' as him, Good Luck!

When you said it was squished, I was thinking the worst. That's not so bad and it should hatch out just fine.
