Hole in my egg
Hi, my eggs were piled up, and in fear about them all not being able to pip i went to separate them. It is day 53 at 89 degrees and no one has piped, but when separating them i ripped a very tiny hole in the egg that leaked a very tiny bit of liquid out of it. Should i just leave it or finish cutting that egg?

Where is the hole located top, side or bottem..?? I say if it is on the top you should be fine and also if it high enough on the side also...

day 53 your fine just leave the egg as is and the snake will come out when ready. just keep him moist with saline solution if needed.

Re: Hole in my egg
if your worried about the egg you could put a piece of surgical tape over the hole which would re-seal it but i wouldnt worry at day 53,i accidently tore a small hole in one egg when i was removing them from the females tub and patched it up with a small piece of surgical tape and the embryo went full term and hatched
