    This is the first feeding.....

Going to do my first feeding now, F/T hoppers. If one snakes eats I will be happy, if both eat I will be ecstatic! I think they were fed live before by the breeders ( got them in Maryland over the weekend). Heres to hoping.....wish me luck!

FAST UPDATE: Wow! She ate that fast! He is showing interest, but not eating. Moved him to a dark closet, gonna wait a few hours. How long should I wait until I give up and try another day? And yes they were fed seperately, but I stupidly bought clear feeding containers today *face palm*

Well, I would definately get them seperated. Into their own living quarters. That way they can eat in thier home and not be stressed from moving. You can leave it in there overnight if you want, but as soon as it gets cold he probably won't want it.

Re: This is the first feeding.....

I never ever feed snakes in the tank, never have, never will. I've kept childreni together, rats snakes together, never an issue. Its all about the husbandry. Just like I think keeping snakes in tubs and bins is asinine(minus TRUE breeders), but to each his own as long as the animals are properly maintained. Everyone has an opinion. Im just freaking about the BP's eating because they are babies.

Re: This is the first feeding.....

Dude. You don't have to freak out. I'm just trying to help. Good luck if she gets prego and you don't know until their are eggs on the ground. BTY. It's not all about the husbandry, it's about the snakes and there is a big difference in ball pythons and the other ones you mention.

My tubs might be asinine, but my snakes (including the hatchlings) are all eating great. Excuse me now, it seems to be getting deep in here and I don't have my boots on.

Re: This is the first feeding.....

Thanks for your help. I don't think I'll leave it over night. I'll just wait a few days if he doesn't eat.
