Is there anything I need to know before my BP's 1st trip to the vet??

I scheduled an appt at the vet (they have good reviews from herp owners) and I'm just curious if there's anything in particular that I should know before I take my buddy to his 1st dr visit. Anyone?

Take in a fecal sample if you can! Nip any parasite issues in the bud early...

It will help, especially for future check-ups, if you keep accurate records of husbandry, growth, weights, sheds, defecations, any injuries or illness and feedings. For feedings, document the type and size of prey, Live, F/T, or P/K, and if there are any refusals or regurgitations. Alot of times, it will be the info that you can provide to the vet that can help with diagnosing any problems.

You can make your own Tracking sheets using Excel, or 3 x 5 index cards or you can also use online sites like iHerp.com. There are a couple of other websites and software available, if you are interested in that, just start another thread and ask. Good luck at the vet...
